Will changing to DNA Cleaning Solutions be a smooth process?

Absolutely. We know that changing cleaning companies can sometimes feel like a hassle, so we take care of as much of the process as possible. We’ll visit your premises, understand what you need and work with you to make the changeover as smooth as possible. We’ll also make sure everything is handled properly and in line with relevant UK requirements. Once we’re up and running, you should notice the difference in the quality of our service and cleaning standards.

Every business is different, so we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll first visit your premises and talk through exactly what you need. From there, we’ll put together a cleaning package that suits your building, your schedule and your budget. Our trained cleaning teams are fully supported by our management team, who also keep an eye on the quality of the service.

Yes. You don’t need to worry about providing cleaning equipment or materials. We can supply everything our team needs to carry out the job properly, from cleaning products to professional cleaning equipment. Our cleaners are trained to use the equipment and products safely and effectively.

Just let us know. We want you to be happy with the service, and if something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to put it right quickly. Our management team visits sites regularly to check that everything is being maintained to the expected standard. If you need to speak to us outside of these visits, our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Yes. We have public liability and employers’ liability insurance in place, giving you peace of mind when our team is working on your premises. If you need to see copies of our insurance documents, just ask and we’ll be happy to provide them.

Good cleaning isn’t just about doing the job once — it’s about maintaining the standard. Our cleaners are trained and supported by our management team, and we carry out regular site visits and inspections to make sure the service is being delivered properly. If something needs attention, we address it with the team.

There isn’t a standard hourly rate because the cost depends on what you need. The size of your premises, type of cleaning, frequency of visits, equipment and materials can all affect the price. Whether you need regular office cleaning, a one-off clean or a builders’ clean, we’ll look at your requirements and provide a clear, tailored quotation.

We provide commercial cleaning services across London and Greater London. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.

We work with businesses of all sizes and clean a wide range of commercial premises. This includes offices, medical centres, factories and other workplaces. We also offer services such as carpet and upholstery cleaning, window and façade cleaning, washroom services, high-level cleaning and total facilities management.

Yes. We can arrange a regular office cleaning service around your business and working hours. This can include everyday office cleaning, washrooms, kitchens, recycling and general janitorial services. We’ll discuss what you need and create a cleaning schedule that works for your team.

Yes. You don’t have to take out a regular cleaning contract to use our services. We also provide one-off commercial cleaning for businesses that need a thorough clean for a particular occasion or project, including builders’ cleans and other specialist cleaning requirements.

It’s simple. Get in touch with our team and tell us a little about your premises and what you’re looking for. We’ll arrange a survey where needed, discuss your requirements and put together a cleaning package that suits you. We’ll then provide a tailored quotation with no need to guess what you’re paying for.

FAQ at a glance: more practical questions

This FAQ section adds the practical questions facilities and office managers ask once the basics of price, insurance and cover areas are settled. Each FAQ answer starts with the short version, so you can scan for what you need.

How do cleaners get in if you clean outside our opening hours?
By an arrangement agreed in advance. Access, such as keys or alarm codes, is set out with you in writing before the first clean, alongside the cleaning specification and schedule.
Can you work around surgery or school hours?
Yes. Medical cleaning is scheduled around surgery hours, and schools and offices can be cleaned before opening, after closing or at weekends, depending on what the specification needs.
Can you clean at height?
Yes. We carry out high-level cleaning up to 12 to 14 metres with IPAF-licensed staff, for example high shelving, ductwork, atriums and warehouse racking.
Do you provide washroom, kitchen and recycling services?
Yes. Office cleaning can include washrooms, kitchens, recycling and general janitorial services, all listed in your written specification so everyone knows what is covered.
How are cleaning chemicals handled?
Safely and by trained staff. We supply the products and equipment, and our cleaners are trained to use them correctly. Colour-coded equipment and healthcare-suitable disinfectants are used in medical settings.
Can the specification change after we start?
Yes. If your building, hours or headcount change, tell us and we will review the specification and quotation with you.

Before you call: a quick checklist

If your question is about a specific site rather than this FAQ, having a few details ready makes the first conversation quicker and the quotation more accurate:

  • The site address and the type of building
  • Rough floor area, number of floors and number of washrooms and kitchens
  • Floor types, such as carpet, vinyl or polished stone
  • How often you want cleaning and any times cleaners cannot be on site
  • Any specialist needs, such as clinical rooms, high-level areas or windows

If you do not have every answer, that is fine. We visit and survey the site before we write the specification and quotation, and the pricing questions in the main FAQ explain what affects the price.

Switching from another contractor

The changeover question in the main FAQ gives the short answer; here is the detail. Check the notice period in your current contract first, then contact us in good time. We survey the site, agree the written specification and plan a start date that fits around your existing arrangement. Share any problems you have had, such as missed areas or inconsistent standards, so the new specification addresses them directly. Once we start, our management team visits the site and carries out regular inspections, and you can call us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if something needs attention.

Employers have legal duties around the cleaning chemicals used on their premises, and HSE guidance on COSHH explains them clearly. If your question is not in this FAQ, see our office cleaning and high-level cleaning pages, or call +44 20 3826 8555 at any time.
